Japan Airlines Corporation is a national airline of Japan and is the leading air carrier of the country and a Oneworld member. It is based at Tokyo airports — Narita International Airport (international flights) and Haneda Airport (domestic flights). The company operates regular international and domestic flights. It was created on 1 October 1953 when Japanese government took decision to found a national ariline. In 2002 Japan Airlines merged with Japan Air System, being the third largest air carrier.
